Re: Notification of the Postponement Book Closing Date CPNRF

Refer to letter number Jortor 2009017 as of 17 September 2009 that the CPN Retail Growth Leasehold Property Fund (CPNRF) (the 'Fund') by SCB Asset Management Company Limited (the 'Management Company') has specified the closing date of the register book to suspend the transfer of the Investment Units for determining the existing Unitholders' entitlement to subscribe for the additional Investment Units to be issued and offered for sale on 1 October 2009.

By this letter, the Management Company wishes to further inform CPNRF's unitholders that the Management Company is now on the process of seeking approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission (the 'Office of the SEC') for the capital increase of the Fund. Therefore, the Management Company deems appropriate to reschedule the closing date of the unitholders' register book to suspend the transfer of the Investment Units for determining the existing Unitholders' entitlement to subscribe for the additional Investment Units to be issued and offered for sale from 1 October 2009 to be on 6 October 2009. In this regard, the ratio for Unitholders to subscribe for the additional Investment Units remains unchanged at the ratio of 1 existing Investment Unit to 0.25 additional Investment Unit at the price which will be determined based on intraday Volumn Weighted Average Price(VWAP) of Investment Units of the Fund during the period of 20 business days (between 2 September 2009 - 29 September 2009) prior to the date on which the final offering price is determined. The final offering price is subject to bookbuilding result, whereby the Management Company will further notify the Unitholders of such final offering price on 30 September 2009.
